"Not many people would attempt that without a net." Came a voice from some where behind the infamous cat burglar. The speaker was one of the few people in the world who would risk that particular jump and he'd sure as hell have a grin on the entire time. The voice wasn't dark or raspy like his mentor and there was no aggression whatsoever in his tone. For all intents and purposes, the former boy wonder sounded almost bored to be dealing with Selina Kyle once again as he moved into the light. His feet made nary a sound as Nightwing stepped closer, his mind alert and ready, his body tensed for any number of actions.
Nightwing knew that the old saying "crime doesn't pay" didn't hold true for this woman and it was easy to see in her attitude. Anyone would have been scared or at least intimidated the first time they met The Bat but in his time as Robin, Dick had only ever seen her bat an eyelash or flirt openly with his mentor and idol. Selina Kyle may have been the predictable sort but he had never faced her without Batman by his side. There was no telling how this sneaking socialite might react to his presence.
