Thread: Ivy and Impulse
Who: Ivy and Impulse
Where: Metropolis (by way of the Green)
When: June 3rd
Summary: Ivy is looking for some help.
Ivy lounged upon a thick bed of moss in her apartment. Her expression hadn't changed much in days, and if her overlords in Checkmate were watching, they would see she was clearly not pleased. For a day or two, Pam had entertained the thought that maybe she would be rewarded for her actions of late. She had captured a dangerous and very much wanted criminal. She grew impatient waiting for her slate to be wiped clean by the government. They were like any humans: greedy and deceitful, always wanting and taking and destroying. She felt sick to her stomach taking orders from them. She had had enough.
She was hatching a plot--one that would free her from her imprisonment with Checkmate none the wiser. All she needed now was the assistance of somebody gullible enough. She had a thought of where to start. She closed her eyes, drifting into her connection with all plant life on Earth. If she was patient, the plants would come to her aid. They watched over everything and everyone, silent witnesses to the burning days of mankind. They could help her find the girl.
It was a park. She was in Metropolis. Ivy called out to her through a tuft of daisies. "Iris."
