Narrative: Hush Who: Dr. Thomas Elliot Where: Gotham General Hospital When: Sunday, 5/23 Summary: Tommy does some research while consulting at Gotham General. Note: Minor R-Rated stuff below the cut.
"Oh! God! Doctor! Elliot!" The anonymous brunette nurse yipped, nestled behind a filing cabinet. Her legs (wrapped around his waist) gave a tense squeeze, twitching a few times before relaxing completely. Tommy was more subtle about things, letting a low groan rumble down the back of his throat before he rested his forehead against her shoulder. He took a deep breath before carefully setting her down on the floor, and so began the awkward shuffle for clothes.
After redoing his belt buckle, he ran a hand through his hair, glancing over at the woman. He looked from her to the door. "You should...probably go out first," he remarked, his voice hitching with awkward trepidation. She nodded, knowing full well what people would say if they saw them leaving the room at the same time. She blushed and smiled, adjusting the collar of her scrubs as left the file room. She felt lucky to have been able to snag a moment with the exceptionally hot doctor who was only in town consulting for a few weeks.
The door clicked shut behind her, and Tommy sprang into action, fighting his body's will towards lethargy. In the past, he had done some cursory investigations about Richard Grayson, hoping to catch Bruce in some embarrassing bad touch situation, but once he started doing a deeper dive into all of those young people in Bruce Wayne's life, he had discovered something remarkable: Jason Todd. It was a tragic and largely unpublicized death. Bruce Wayne's second adopted child, dead so quickly it was amazing nobody accused the billionaire of abuse. He had a few details, but he wanted to know them all, which was why he was in this dusty back room with a number in his hand.
He hurried to the shelf, pulling a file--a birth record. "The origins of the short and lamentable life of Mr. Todd," he murmured, taking the pages to the nearby copier. It all seemed too simple as he shoved the photo copies into his leather bound folder and replaced the file on the shelves. He rounded the shelves and was right by the door when someone came in--one of the cardiac surgeons. "Dr. Elliot? What are you doing back here?"
Tommy coughed, straightening out his tie. "Umm. Well. The nursing staff is...very friendly." He coughed again, glancing away from the doctor's severe look of propriety driven disgust. "I'll just get going--"
"Yeah, that's a good idea, Doctor," the other surgeon remarked, rolling her eyes when Tommy left the room. "Billionaires. Ugh."
