Thread: Young Justice Communication
Who: Rook, Toyman, and people with access to the YJ comms
Where: from Bludhaven to Mt. Fuji take a left at Happy Harbor and straight on to morning.
When: Monday May 17th
Summary: Rook calls Toyman on the comm. – childish and petty insults ensue. Anyone tuned in will get an earful and welcome to add their own two cents.
He was not grounded, a fact that would be surprising to most people his age. Especially if they had just chewed out Batman. Damian was not most people his age, and no grounding would ever stick. Even though he was not grounded, he was still at the townhouse, peeved as his perceived maltreatment and nursing old grudges. Same as he did every day.
The book that he was supposed to be reading – some new age crap about self actualization – was unceremoniously slumped on the floor by the wall. Damian had not bothered to pick it up after he threw it earlier. Instead of reading, he was precariously balanced, tilting the desk chair back as far as it would go while he studied the world go by out the study windows. People were boring and beneath him, but the book was worse. Besides, he was practicing his equilibrium and detective skills. So far he had done fabulously on the balancing act, and learned next to nothing about the people that walked by.
Righting the chair with a thump, Damian got up to retrieve his Young Justice communicator from his room. While he generally despised his team and teammates, he was their leader. As the leader, it was his job to check in on the lazy genius on their team, who was AWOL. The communicator was brand new, so the button resisted when he turned it on.
“Toyman, have you finally irritated someone enough that they killed you, or will I have to come do it myself?”
