Hack the Planet: YJ Perspective Who: Toyman and friends! Er, Young Justice. Where: Secret Sanctuary Monitor Room; YJ Communicators When: Tuesday, April 13th, about three hours and five minutes after Aeon's press conference Summary: Oh, the planet's been hacked? Neat. Hiro touches base with the rest of the team.
Hiro frequently took to sleeping wherever it caught up with him, and this time it was in the monitor room. Pieces of some small technological something that, in the early stages of design as it was, might have resembled either a chicken or maybe a velociraptor lay scattered on a work surface. The teenage engineer himself sat awkwardly in a chair, slumped over next to the chicken-velociraptor-thing with his head pillowed on his arm and his goggles all askew.
It was probably a peaceful sight, right up until an alert blared right next to his head.
Chairs with wheels didn't take well to such sudden movements that came with boys sitting bolt upright. It went rolling, Hiro, however, went crashing down to the ground with a startled yelp. There was a brief pause, just long enough to reorient himself and cast a glance around the room to make sure no one saw that.
It took less than a minute to get the big picture, and quickly come to understand that it was only his stuff he could totally trust. Well, his and every high security network he could piggyback on, which still didn't allow nearly as much as he wanted to as he aggregated the data from everything he could get his hands on. Further detail didn't paint a pretty picture, but it sure as hell was an impressive one. He probably shouldn't have found it as cool as he did, either, but that wasn't the point.
First things first and all that, which meant was sending out a transmission to the rest of the team and figure out their respective situations.
"Hey, guys, report in," would be the first thing anyone on Young Justice's secure frequency would hear if they checked their comms, "Not that I gotta mention it or anything, I'm thinking, but we kinda have a problem here."
