While his effort was far from lacking, Kyle simply was not as nimble, graceful, or limber as his companion for the night. Not nearly. More than once, he'd almost plunged to an alley in his attempt to follow after the Huntress. Sure, he could have just used his power ring to fly after her, but he'd already discovered in his first moments of meeting her that the power he wielded did nothing to impress her. If anything, she seemed to scorn him for it.
But that was fine... because, well.
She happened to be hot.
And Kyle, well... he could be quite simple sometimes.
When she finally came to a stop, he found himself incomprehensibly thankful for all of the running and physical conditioning he had been up to lately. He had learned, through hard experience, that he could not always rely entirely upon his ring and as a consequence had kept in the best shape of his life...which still did not mean he could always readily keep up with all of the jumps the Huntress made, but at least he wasn't panting now.
Show her what he could do? Well, he had a few ideas as to how to proceed without his power ring, but most of those ended in him a bloody mess on the floor. He could be pretty decent in a fight, but if they were armed-and he had every reason to assume that they would be-he'd probably not fair the greatest. Which meant that, despite his want to impress her, he figured he'd be stupid not to stick to his own guns in this situation.
Looking to Huntress, then, Kyle smirked a little and nodded. Taking just enough time to survey where the guards were standing, he opened the door and stepped through without a moment of hesitation. Before the men could react to the sight of a costumed figure walking casually through the door, multiple pairs of arms materialized from the wall behind them, pinning them firmly and gagging their mouths. They struggled, but most of their efforts were in vain.
Having scarcely made a sound while handling the men, he glanced sidelong back at the door, waiting for the Huntress.
