Barbara took the glass, sipping at the ginger ale and mentally guessing how long Bruce would be drinking these before he had to start really cranking up the playboy persona. "I think I stopped wearing pigtails when Dick left home. Did a lot of growing up about that time, as you may remember." She said this with a teasing grin. Back then, she'd been relentless, slipping the occasional flirt in here and there. Of course, Bruce never reciprocated seriously, but it was still a nice carefree time in her life to remember.
"And you don't have to stop flirting with me so long as the compliments keep coming. Those I don't mind at all." He was making an effort to tone himself down. It was only fair that she try to tone herself up. "Especially not from a rich, handsome, and (I hear) still eligible-as-ever bachelor."
