Who: Evil Steph + Possibly Bat response
Where: Brown Residences
When: June 26 (night time)
Summary: A gift for herself
The last few nights were spent spying on everyone she missed, and tonight, Steph stood on the sidewalk opposite her house and watched her mother get to work. She could tell that her mom had been crying, and Steph felt guilty (for once). But if couldn't be helped; Justice had to keep their younger counterparts safe and away from the Justice League's influence.
Crystal got into her car and drove away without seeing the woman who was her daughter and not, at the same time, courtesy of Justice's superior future tech. Steph was sure Crystal had figured out by now that her younger self had in fact, been lying and continuing her adventures as the Spoiler behind Crystal's back. Why else would she suddenly go missing?
Steph waited until her mother's car turned the corner and left her side before crossing the street and climbing up the tree that she used to climb down from when she was younger. The window was locked, but it was her room after all, and Steph knew exactly how to jingle the old latch until it popped open. Steph climbed in and panned the room.
She missed her old room.
Steph's brow furrowed, and she left her parcel in the hidey hole under her bed. Steph left through the front door, and teleported back to HQ with the help of a batbot she'd brought and hid in the bushes. Its voice box was temporarily disabled to avoid startling the neighbors.
She was sure her younger counterpart would find it and be able to figure out how to use the device. She'd even used Tim's name because she knew that her younger self would not want to use the invisitech if she knew who it was from.
