Draco nodded slowly. "I--don't want it between us," he said, "and the fact it got brought up now...I...all right, I'm an arse for bringing it up but, I needed to know."
He was quiet for a long time. "You still haven't told me why you spent so much tme trying to clear my name," he said. He sat up a bit, leaning against the headboard of the bod and pulling her into his lap. "Am I really worth that much trouble to you?" He'd asked her the same question the night he'd been released from Azkaban...but it had been six months since he'd heard the answer, and now--it was much more important to him. Mainly because he knew that there wre things he couldn't really avoid anymore, and he wanted to be sure that she'd at least be receptive to it.
