Upon dismissal by the black-suited federal agent, Cody joined his peers in collecting up his provided information packet, tucking his hat under his arm, and shuffling towards the briefing room's exit. He made sure to sidle up next to his partner in the flow of officers, though he waited until they could detach from the crowd and make their way towards the parking lot before he bothered trying to speak.
"Crazy stuff, huh?" He offered, his concerted effort to keep his tone casual belying how heavily the upcoming policy was weight on his mind.
