Darl pounced on the subject change. "End of November," he said almost immediately, shifting in his seat awkwardly until he got comfortable again, smirking slightly at Ace. "I've got a good feeling about November this year."
Neville noted Ari's silence with some curiosity, his brow furrowing as he looked at her, as though he could determine what had upset her from the look on her face - which, of course, he could not. He noted the way her hand moved, but did not make the connection.
"It wasn't until December last year," he said. "And then it disappeared, didn't it? Didn't come back until January?"
"End of November," Darl said, slamming his fist lightly down on the table twice. "I stand by my assessment."
