She chuckled softly, releasing his hand once she thought he had the hang of things. "Good. Subtle clowns are always the worst," she pointed out as she moved back to her own closet to continue her Muggle-method cleaning over there.
"I used to take a month every summer," she began, "to live just like a Muggle. There was no real reason at first. Just for a lark, you know. But then it got to be a tradition, and now I think it's habit. Habit enough I find myself doing things Muggle ways before I remember I've got a wand."
So, the bit of random sharing was ... well, random. But it was something about her that was a part of her that she was inclined to share with him.
