Or so the fable went. She hadn't been able to ascertain any reason why it might boost one's luck, but all the same... several swore the charm had some magic inside it.
She didn't look up from idly inspecting the various trinkets until a moment shy of an awkward silence. Looking up, she flashed Bowen a smile. "One misstep at a time, it seems. Have you come to greet my guest?"
With a smirk this time, Beckett gestured to Varin as she tapped a ring with her free hand and looked back to the foreign wizard. "Another little thing with a bit of power, if you've any interest. Supposedly it reacts in the presence of deceitfully written words when activated."
