As he perused the wares, Beckett studied him a bit more closely before her attention started to shift to other things. Namely, the silly parties that would be stealing her away from more important things.
All the same, though... she supposed even parties had their uses.
"A few months already?" Beckett frowned as she briefly twisted a strand of hair around her finger before tucking the strand behind her ear. "And I haven't seen you? Have you possibly not been living up to England's social standards?"
The words were tinged with a hint of sarcasm. Beckett was trying to put aside her own dislike of the pretentiousness to achieve ends, however.
