Autumn sidestepped fast enough that Brenna flailed and nearly fell. She smirked, and hoped that was enough to convince her cousin to go find someone else to lean on.
"Do something about it," she began. "Short of locking the lot of them up in a closet somewhere, I doubt it very much."
Brenna grunted once she caught her balance, and she glared toward Autumn - and the rest of her friends - before she moved away.
Well, she'd find someone else. Maybe Paige was around.
Autumn rolled her eyes as Brenna started off. "I swear, start of term is the worst time ..." She sighed. "My summer was all right, if you skip this past week when she's been around almost constantly. How was yours?"
