Madison chose to ignore the tangent about any magical powers that might come with a prefect's badge. It would be nice, yes. Sadly, that wasn't how the world worked.
She didn't answer immediately when Mal offered to help look -- instead, she stepped into one of the compartments to peer out through the window and see if maybe Landon and Tristan were still outside. Her initial sweep of the crowd didn't provide much better results than before. Madison did see the Head Girl, though. And there was the beginnings of a conglomeration of Potters and Weasleys.
"There's the Weasley girl in your year," she noted, turning to walk past Malcolm, intending to go find Autumn. "I'll find Tristan. Why don't you go catch up?"
