Acevona rested a hand lightly on Landon's shoulder as they wove through the crowd. Oh, she'd been at the school already to get her things settled into the infirmary, but she and Ashley had gone over everything earlier that summer. She really was sad to see the girl leaving, but she couldn't pretend she didn't understand. What must it be like to be young and in love?
Chuckling to her thoughts, she regarded Landon. "Isaac asked that I inquire about that mask he saw on your bedpost?"
Lan grinned. "It's not for me," he promised her as he shifted his trunk off the trolley to let them load his luggage onto the train.
"I don't think it's his most brilliant idea, but ... well." He shrugged, and cleared his throat, though he couldn't keep from grinning.
