Madison thought about giving in for a moment and letting him at least fix the salad before her better sense kicked in. She had her work to get finished, and he definitely had his work to be finished.
"No," she denied, shaking her head and starting to pull the door shut behind her. "You make a dent in this room, I'll fix dinner -- which is going to be curry, by the way."
Madison paused where she was looking in through just a slit in the door. "It should be ready in about an hour. Try not to fall asleep."
