Madison had been tempted to crack open her journal all day, but she had resisted in lieu of getting a good start on her packing. Though she wasn't exactly keen to sort through her things and get them all packed away in a trunk just yet, she knew her mother had a point.
If she didn't do it now, she would be rushing later.
It hadn't taken more than a few hours of work (most of her room was neatly organized, which lended itself well to packing up) before Madison felt that she would be ready when the first rolled around.
Since her packing had gone so well, she decided to walk down the hall to check up on her baby brother.
Somehow, she wasn't surprised to find him asleep in the middle of the day. She was just... exasperated.
Folding her arms over her chest, Madison frowned and waited a moment before coughing politely. "I hope you're not planning to sleep all day..."
