Kristóf smiled pleasantly as he looked down the table at those who had gathered for this meeting of those who felt snubbed by Britain's ministry. At the moment, they were just those who felt their protests had passed unheard for long enough -- with a few exceptions, he was sure.
Soon, though, he would attempt to give them a purpose. From there, it would be up to those attending and the strength of their influence and dedication to continue rolling the snowball Kristóf hoped to start.
For another second, Kristóf silently regarded those whom he knew or had heard good things about. There was the Beckett woman sitting near the opposite end watching him with an intent, rather bored expression. The Embers brothers -- a third of which had slipped in and was taking a seat. He recalled that he had known their sister. And... there were a few too young for him to have a clear idea on who they were or who they were representing.
"Comrades," he began quietly, unconcerned with lifting his voice to carry. If they wished to listen, they would hear. "I vish, first, to thank those vot haff decided to allow a foreign vizard to begin these proceedings. It is my vish that soon England vill enjoy the same purity that Bulgaria cherishes."
Pausing, Kristóf folded his hands on the table and cast a steady gaze toward a few of the attendees. "Ve haff gathered to discuss these recent..." He frowned slightly as if the word irritated him to speak. "...laws your ministry has put into being. And vot vays ve, being vot ve are, vish to respond. Sitting idly by, it is seeming, is not vorking for your country. Each day I haff been hearing of the impure dictating your lives."
This time a small, halfway amused grin slid into place with his pause. "I haff heard only this morning that in this country, you haff been forced to pay your servants." Here he paused entirely to cast an amused glance toward the house elf that stood quietly near his chair. The creature pulled the proper look of disgust into place, and Kristóf turned his attention back to those gathered.
