"I like to pride myself on matters of, shall we say, am-bi-ahnce," Nigel chuckled, watching the man. "We need few distractions when it comes to the topic at hand, I daresay."
The hat on his head would be distraction enough; at least, until the meeting began.
"Have we an idea of how many to expect?" he asked of the younger man then. He had, of course, been informed beforehand, but it was always a nice idea to see how much the rest of their little club knew.
