Lisa was sometimes of a habit to ramble on, but when he said he'd run a book shop, she brightened even more, "Oh that sounds brilliant! I was a bartender before, so running the pub was about the same, more paperwork mind you," she said, thinking aloud.
"The right inventory can make things run much more smoothly," she agreed with him with a nod, running a business - of sorts - herself. She couldn't help but watch him with her lips closed in a tight smile, trying not to giggle - he was an odd sort, wasn't he? But not in a bad way, in an... adorable way, she supposed.
"Oh, you're brilliant!" She exclaimed in her excitement, "I've been dying to read them, and have had to wait, this is such good news! And yes, they were, I put in the order earlier this week hoping they'd arrived by now. I tend to order a few each week, I hope that's okay?" He hadn't set her books down, but she wasn't sure how the new system might run, with an actual person running now.
