The front doors opened and Fay looked up from her desk. She could see the entrance from where she'd placed her work station - and yes, she'd done that on purpose. Her work life had lightened considerably since the Hufflepudd Eleanor Branstone had arrived, but Joe still kept her quite busy. She didn't like surprises, thus the desk placement. This, however, was a pleasant surprise. "Roger Davies?" She asked, aloud, down the corridor. She stood from her desk. "Roger Davies!" She repeated herself, happy to see the familiar Ravenclaw. He'd been a bit older than her, but she'd admired him - he was a prefect, and he'd been very popular and well-liked, even outside of his House. Of course, none of that meant he'd know who she was, especially these years later, but Fay was never one for recognizing her own odd 'social' behaviors, and she wasn't going to start now by pretending not to know someone that she knew.
"That is you," she said, coming around her desk and down the hallway now. She gave him a big smile, "Welcome to Nowhere, though I suppose that isn't a cause for much celebration, now is it?" Fay didn't love Nowhere, but she didn't hate it, either. She certainly wasn't as enthusiastic as Lisa Turpin over at the Pub, but she'd made do, much like she always had.
