"Well I know that I'd like there to be an us," he said softly. "You can stay over and I won't try to kiss you again. We can go slow. I enjoy your company. But if you really don't feel comfortable staying over, and I'm not saying that you do, but if you do, then I hope I'll see you again soon," he said. He was trying to be as fair to her and her feelings as he possibly could.
