She'd never much been interested in the whole 'early to bed, early to rise' philosophy. A confirmed night owl, she was rarely in her bed before 3am, at the earliest. She liked the night time. As far as she was concerned, the damned early bird could keep it's stupid worm. She'd take a comforable bed anyday, no questions asked.
Last night had been no different than most. She'd had an interesting time training with Xena, Gabrielle, Toph and Katara, but had wandered off bored after not too long. Teaching people really wasn't so much her forte. She was more of the lone wolf type, neither good at teaching nor particularly at learning. Sure, she showed her Watchers a certain amount of respect, but that didn't make her an easy student. After that impromptu, for her, at least, training session, she had wandered along her merry way. She hadn't made it to her bed until well past 4am.
Being left to her own devices, it would be well past noon when she awoke. Someone, however, seemingly didn't know when to leave her to those devices. In the midst of her dreams, for once as normal as they ever got, she heard a banging. Not loud, not at first. But insistent. Even when she dragged her pillow over her head, it wasn't enough to keep the noise out fully.
The girl sighed, slipped out of bed, and staggered over to the door. Once there, she held on to the doorframe and swung open the door. Her hair was a mess, she was still bleary-eyed, and on top of that, she was completely and totally nude. She didn't sleep wearing clothing, and didn't care enough about other people's sense of what was decent and what wasn't to even grab a blanket to cover up.
"Oh, it's you. Sorry, I'm not the Slayer before noon. Come back later."
