After Sidney Prescott gave more statements to the police about having to kill in self defense she dozed off on the sofa in her tiny condo. That was when the planet decided to grab the pretty horror movie sort of target and plopped her somewhere on the beach. That was when Sidney came to and came to realize she was not in her condo or even in a building. Of course out of habit she felt for her hidden gun and realized it was not there. So she did what anyone in her shoes would have done, dove under some trees and watched the scenes around her.

"I guess it could be worse, Ghostface could be after me again" Sidney mused under her breath. But beyond the landing and sand in her hair she was otherwise in one piece, minus a few bumps and bruises of course. Ok, plus her clothes had taken a tiny bit of a beating in the process. But for now she was hidden among some trees and well after Ghostface has every reason to be scared out of her wits. So she did the one thing that made sense without her gun, she gripped a stick.

(tiny ooc about the stick: from what I could figure from the films Sidney is a prime choice for PTSD and the stick is just her reaction to landing here. so be ready greeter)

Now that the storm was over with, Ianto had taken to exploring a bit outside. The place was quite nice and Ianto felt he wouldn't completely hate staying here. He just hoped it wasn't forever.

He'd gone to the beach, soaking in the quiet and peacefulness as he slowly walked down along the sand, staring out at the water. In a way, it reminded him of being by the Bay back home. It brought comfort.

	Sidney was still ankle deep in a flashback when she spotted someone nearby. "Don't come near me you creep" she hissed, eyes blazing. 	"How about just getting dumped in the middle of nowhere less than 4 hours after having to kill an insane killer in a ghostface mask in self-defense. As soon as she said the words, Ianto got the vaguest feeling he knew what she was talking about... He felt like he'd been retconned, like he should know her, her face on the tip of his memory but unable to grasp it. He pushed the thought aside. She probably just looked like someone he'd seen in passing before. What with his memory, it sometimes happened.

Ianto didn't move for a moment, then slowly held out his hand. "I can help you," he offered.

The stick in Sidney's hand hit the ground at that same moment, part of her badly needing to hear that from someone. "Ghostface, still haunts me and my name is Sidney, Sidney Prescott. I was asleep in my condo and well you know the rest of the story by now" as she finally came clean. Her smaller hand reaching out, needing to regain that tiny sense of something she could not explain.

	"Ghostface?" Ianto asked curiously as he gently took her hand and helped her up. "What's that? Or who." He smiled, keeping his face friendly. "Welcome to the planet. I'll show you around... At least... the parts I've been to. I've only been here a few days." Ianto'd never told anyone about the planet before... He wondered if she would think he was insane. "Ghostface is a serial killer, I've had to kill 2 different versions in self defense twice over the last 2 or so years" as Sidney told what she could of her story. "His thing was a mask that looked like a screaming ghost, kinda explains the name" as she realized this was not her condo. "Planet? Sounds like something out of a cheesy sci-fi movie, no offense. When you live in fear movies and tv become a friend" she was honest.

	"You shouldn't have any trouble here," Ianto told her kindly, hoping it was true. There didn't seem to be anything hostile, alien or not, running around so. As they walked, he studied her out of the corner of his eye. She looked young, around his age. Perhaps they had a few things in common besides having hostile people/things chasing after them. Ianto was silent for a few moments, thinking about how to respond to that. He knew how that felt. However, he wasn't going to elaborate on why so he simply repeated his thoughts. "I know how that feels. I used to be like that. It took five people for me to trust again." First Lisa, then Jack after she was gone, then Tosh, Gwen, and Owen after Jack left. He didn't trust so easily still but he didn't completely close himself off.

"As long as you have at least one person to trust, that's what is most important," Ianto said softly, thinking about the time he came to London. The only person he'd trusted was his mother, but that was something he could never tell her for her own protection. He hadn't had anyone to speak to about things, bottling them up inside.

With a pang, he wondered if he'd ever see her again.

Ianto shrugged. "It took me at a very odd moment... but things worked out. I was waiting for someone to come back to me but found him here instead. He came from a different point in time; we all seem to be taken from different time periods," he interjected, "but now I know he still would have come back." A small barely noticeable smile slipped onto Ianto's face. "Things, so far, aren't so bad here... To be honest, it's a bit... dull when you're used to the lives we lived before we got here." 'We' meaning she and Ianto.

"Aaaaah, nightmares," Ianto said in a dry, sarcastic tone. "Lovely things, aren't they. I've been on more sleeping pills in my life than anything else." In his job, you couldn't afford to be tired on the job. There were tasks to be done, the archive to be kept upgraded, the Hub to be kept neat and in working order, coffee to supply, aliens to chase down... Sleep was needed and although he hated taking them, sometimes the pills were necessary in order to perform his job to the best of his ability.

	"So not fun and I was getting sick of even seeing a bottle of sleeping pills after the first few rounds of them" having been on at least 3 or 4 different kinds. 	After some searching that took some time, the pair managed to find Sidney's room. Ianto almost laughed at where it was. "You're right next to me," he said in amusement. "Should have just showed you where my room was first. If you need anything, feel free to knock. If I'm not there, then try room 202. It's just a few doors down this hall. I mostly stay there."
