DAY 9
Who: Ginger & Brigitte.
What: Hurricane madness, Ginger is nuts!
When: Afternoon.
Where: Near the resort.
Rating: We're talking about Ginger here, PG-13.
Status: Incomplete.

Ginger was out braving the storm. She was nuts. Emerald hues looked up at the sky angrily as her arms wrapped around her middle and held herself as if to hold herself down so that she wouldn't blow away. Spotting the garage by the resort had the young woman, now soaked and her hair a mess ran into the garage as quick as anything, taking off into the wind. It was hard to get herself to move it was like the wind was taking her over. Still she moved on and got to the garage, getting inside and slamming the door shut. "Oh for fucks sake." the soaked red head had exclaimed as she tried to twist her long red locks out a little to get the water out.

It looked as if maybe tears would sting her eyes but all that ended up happening was Ginge had kicked a gasoline can harshly. "OW! Fuck." now hobbling around and finally took a seat on the stairs. "This sucks!" no friends, well did she ever have any? Not likely. No Brigitte. She had taken off with that...that...idiot. Ooooh if she could just get her hands on him!

After the weirdness that had been Brigitte's seventh day on the planet and the odd change that had occurred to landscape on her eighth day, she wasn't really surprised by the hurricane like weather on day nine. It was one of those days that just made a person want to stay inside and that had been Brigitte original plan when she first woke up that morning. By the afternoon she resigned herself to heading outdoors and trekking to the main building in search of food. She was still a growing girl after all and getting closer to the change had increased her appetite so the brunette had no other choice. I should probably look around for Ginger anyway she mused as walked through the windy, rainy landscape. She's got to be inside today

Grabbing a quick bite from the kitchen, the brunette started to make her way through the main building. Aside from the odd golem, she didn't see anyone hanging around. It wasn't such a bad thing however. While Brigitte might have liked to have seen John, Eliminster or Maxxie again, there were people in the resort she was hoping she'd never run into again. Edward came to mind immediately and the memory of that encounter still caused Brigitte to blush. No, she had acted like a idiot the first time she met the boy so Brigitte really didn't want to have to face him again.

Eventually the teenager ended up in the large ballroom. There was still no sign of Ginger or anyone else but instead of leaving the room, she headed across the hardwood floor to look out a tall, nearly floor length window. I wonder how long this storm is going to last? Wait....who's that? Brigitte moved closer to the window, her nose touching the glass causing her breath to fog it as she peered out. She had seen movement down by the garage and soon she recognized that familiar red hair. "Ginger", she breathed before turning around and running for the door way. It had taken Brigitte too damn long to find her sister and she wasn't about to give Ginger the chance to slip away.

Outside once more, the rain pounded against her face and slide down the black raincoat she had donned earlier. Too bad the raincoat wasn't long enough to cover her jeans as Brigitte felt the blue denim soak up the water but she was glad she had been smart enough to put on boots. No point in being completely soaked, right? After a few minutes she reached the garage door and swung it open. It was dark inside and smelled slightly musty with a trace scent of gasoline and Brigitte could hear Ginger before her eyes adjusted to the darkness.

"So there you are", she said flatly to her sister, letting the door close as she stepped into the garage. Ginger sat on the stairs, looking just like she always did. Wild, unkempt red hair and scowl on those pretty features. Brigitte's chest tightened at the sight of her. Yes, she had known Ginger was here but seeing her again would always be a shock to Brigitte. "I've been looking for you for the past week. Where have you been?"

"What does it matter? You have your new friends, go enjoy them." Ginger also had said flatly as she looked down at the gasoline can on the ground and frowned. "Well, I shouldn't have kicked that." thinking out loud to herself. Green eyes looked up to her sister. "Why are you still here?" her voice cracked a little, as if emotionally or just because she was so angry; no one knew. The young woman got up and off of the step as she nearly slid in the gasoline and finally moved over to Brigitte.

What could she do, what could she say? Was there anything to say. Sniffing finally, she looked harshly upon her sister. But her words were gentle and sincere. However it held a bit of mocking.

"I'm sorry about Sam." the woman offered.

"Of course it matters", Brigitte replied softly. "You're my sister. I was worried about you. I still am", she admitted when Ginger asked why she was still here. The brunette had no idea how Ginger was dealing with all this, being brought to the planet, seeing Brigitte again, learning that the once younger Fitzgerald was actually older than Ginger. It was a lot to deal with. Brigitte knew her sister well enough to know exactly how Ginger coped with stress but so far no one had been talking about any crazy red heads or missing bodies so Brigitte assumed Ginger had been behaving herself.

She kept still as Ginger got up and headed toward her. The brunette hadn't forgotten how dangerous her sister was but she wasn't about to act all timid and frightened. Besides, despite the harsh look Ginger was giving her, there was something else going on beneath the surface. Whatever it was, Brigitte was sure Ginger wasn't going to hurt her. Not at that moment anyway and her eyes widen with surprise as the red head apologized about Sam.

Brigitte wasn't entirely sure she believed Ginger but decided there was no point in arguing about it anymore. She missed Sam but she knew all too well how hard it was to control your urges during the change and Ginger had been hard enough to control when she was human. The only thing to do was to move on as far as Brigitte was concern.

"It's the past. There's not much we can do about it now although, in the future? Try to refrain from killing my friends, ok Ginge?"

"It's just the changes, B. All these... fucking changes. It itches. It just keeps itching under my skin, you know? What am I supposed to do?" she confided in her for a few moments. Killing her friends? This made Ginger angry again. Maybe it was time for her to stop being angry, which was no possible way Ginger Fitzgerald would ever stop being pessimistic. All the people that had 'wronged' her in her life. Ginge wouldn't admit it but she was a real drama queen. Green hues flickered from the gasoline bottle then to her sister.

"So what's next, we stay here?" a mutter. Hey at least she didn't say she wished she had babies legs. Not knowing what to really say, considering Sam... Jason and everything that had heppened. "So this... John guy... he your friend now too?" Ginger tried to act like it didn't leave a sour taste in her mouth but it pretty much did.

"Because if he is, that's cool and all B... just make sure he doesn't start that shit again." and there she went again as the hurricane pounded on the garage and the tight doors in front of them. "Dead in this scene..." the young woman whispered quietly and held out the front of her palm.
