Elminster smiled over the table and, still gripping Tonk's hand, he stood. Looking down on her, he was struck by her beauty. He prepared to cast teleportation magic.
"Each morning, I spend time memorizing my spells. As I cast each, the magical energies remove that spell from my mind. Unless I have memorized it many times. There are certain spells that have become an innate part of me, as yours are." With that, he completed the spell in his mind, investing the extra effort to keep from having to make the arcane gestures that would've forced him to release Tonks' hand. He spoke the words, and the cafe vanished from around them and they reappeared in the confines of Elminster's room.
The stone walls and huge shelves of books surrounded them, along with Elminster's table chairs and four poster bed. He looked over at Tonks and was once again struck by her beauty. He decided that he could play her game of subtexts as well.
"Well, here we are. Where would you like to begin?"
