Tonks, if you please ([info]tonks_please) wrote in [info]mirage_rpg,
The pink-haired young woman watched him, completly enthralled, as he spoke. It seemed to her that it was absolutely crucial that she fully understand everything he said, because anything that came from his lips was completely important. It was, in fact, somehow her whole world. This would not at all be normal for her, but she didn't feel inclined to question it.

"Yeah, I'm Tonks. I know magic, too..."

It didn't even matter that she had no idea who or what Mystra was, or what a Chosen was, either. It was all very important, because it came from him. She absorbed every word, just looking at him with wide eyes, flushed cheeks, and slightly parted lips. When he started to leave, she followed after him. A sudden surge of happiness went through her as he invited her to come along with him.

"Hmm? Oh, I can do lots of things, really... let's see... one of the most useful to an Auror is this... Expecto Patronum!"

She watched as silver smoke burst from the tip of her wand, which she'd pulled out from her pocket, and formed her Patronus, a large lizard. It was particularly strong, bright and vivid today. She obviously had a lot of positive energy to focus into it right at the moment. After awhile, she let it disappate.

"I can immobilize people, hurt them, blast things out of the way, I don't know, all sorts of things, really."

She was literally tripping over herself to try and impress him as they walked together towards the cafe. Considering her usual walking abilities, or lack thereof, this pretty much meant she was constantly on the edge of falling flat on her face. But she didn't care. There were more important things going on here.
