Moving closer to him when she noticed blood, Shannon craned her neck to look. She was relieved to see that it didn't look like anything terribly serious. She was even more relieved when he said he was all right.
Her heart was beating so hard it felt like it might thump right out of her chest; she could feel it in her temples and hear it hammering in her ears. Leaning back against the golem, she tried again to calm herself with deep breaths. It was a little easier this time, now that Dean was back in sight.
At his words, she snuck a peak around the golem and sure enough, the lizards had started going at one another. Good. Fuck 'em. She hoped they killed each other with those stupid water guns.
"Okay," she agreed readily. Getting out of there sounded amazing and she was glad to hear he agreed. Giving one of the golems a nudge, she told it to keep the lizards at bay if needed and then looked back at Dean. "Where to?" she asked, thinking it was probably better if she had an idea of where they were going before they went, just in case - please don't let that happen... - she and Dean were separated.
