"You're very welcome, Ms. Sanders. You are very much a Bond girl in that ensemble. It can't be helped," he said with a theatrical smile. It was all a show for a few moments as he channeled the James Bond she kept attributing to him. Which was fine with him because the enigma of playacting suited the moment. They both were playing a part it seemed. "Be careful I don't deflower you before the night is through," he joked.
He offered her his arm again once they were outside the door and smiled over at her pleasantly. "It's been a long time since I've had such a lovely lady on my arm. I think you'll probably be the last before I end up stuck in the burbs hunting crazy people with my brother."
He led them through the hallways to the door outside. As per his request, his black Chevy Impala was waiting just outside to take them to the restaurant on grounds. "Your carraige awaits, my lady."
