Plotting Post - July
This is our monthly plotting post! Here you may propose ideas (for your characters & their CR, or on a more game-wide scale), try to seek out CR for your characters, ask for suggestions for things you'd want to play out or ways to do it, gather participants for specific ideas you might have planned, and so on.

You may also ask us mods about any doubts regarding upcoming events, propose themes for new posts, sort out jar shenanigans, and anything else.

Our upcoming mod and player planned events are the following:

+ 20/07, Bloody Hands Event

For individual CR and plots, you may use the following template for your characters:

Hi, everyone! So I have a word doc I've been using to keep track of possible future events and event suggestions, and I figured I'd consolidate it all in one place so we can see it and maybe list out others you might want and/or ideas you have for what's listed? I know there are a few events from the old comm that I'd love to transfer over and revamp, but you also know JL and I like to hear from everyone else, too!

In any case, here are recommendations we got from the old comm that we still have listed as potential future events:
► Dark Neverland (OUAT) AU
► Witching event (Madoka-style event)
► Loveless event
► Pokemon AU event
► Moana-inspired event – hunting/finding people’s hearts, people going crazy having lost their hearts
► Your Name event – people fading away and forgetting each other’s names, having to find each other; being lost in time, etc

Player recommendations/suggestions from previous plotting posts:
► Truth or Dare/Never Have I Ever game event structured like the mistletoe event-- characters are given their choice and required to accomplish/answer it (by RNG?)
► Mentality/Feelings swap event-- or as Andrea called it, the "dressed-up version" of the personality switch
► Again, to quote Andrea, this is more a "skeleton of an event" but something that capitalizes on the balance of the world, where certain groups of people are affected negatively (say, magic-users vs. non-magic users)
► Characters see one another's deepest fears (sort of a reverse Mirror or Erised); alternately, dreamwalking but entering people's nightmares instead

So that's what I have listed! If you feel like something you've suggested before is missing, let me know and I can update the list.

I guess what I'm interested in knowing is if there are any of the above that you'd really like to see, or old events you'd like to see updated/returned!

For my part, this is what I have listed for requested older threads to eventually get updated/returned to the new game:

► Bloody hands event (happening soon, yay! :D)
► Ghost wounds event
► Lost feelings event
► Hand holding event
► Liar Liar event
► Shattered sight event
► Numb event
► Secrets in the dark + blackout event
► Survival events— flooding, monsters, blizzard, etc
► AU events— fairy tale, vampire, clamp au

Hi my name is Noe and I'm a sucker for all of these, yes yes. esp the your name and moana ones and the reverse mirror of erised.

I think I also said it when Andrea suggested the skeleton of an event, but more stuff capitalizing on the balance would be fun to play out! I liked when we had the big event with two possible outcomes, so having that sort of thing again would be great.

Basically I love everything and I love you guys this is a long way to say I approve of everything.

Yeah, taking advantage of the world's mechanic is something I definitely want to play up more, since it's kind of fallen to the wayside! I think it's really fun and gives the jars and people's actions more weight and immediacy.

I always foresee something like... the day-to-day things characters do influencing what events end up happening and how severely. But that requires a lot of moving parts that might be difficult to translate at times. idk, it's def something I want, tho!!

Also Noe, you are a true gem and ilu ♥ /approves of YOU!!
