[When it starts, of course it's when Shiro has finally stepped out after several hours of looking over at Keith with concern. So when the wolf appears at his side while he's trying to find supplies to bring back, he doesn't hesitate to grab onto the wolf and let him bring him back to Keith's side.]
Keith--
[He's speaking before he's even fully comprehending what he's seeing, already alarmed simply by the wolf appearing, and now seeing Keith's obvious pain. The change is entirely too obvious and alarming. All that fear coiled up inside him bursts up again and he's dropping down beside Keith, reaching out a hand to touch him and hissing out when he feels just how feverish and hot to the touch he is. Damn it. He should have noticed this sooner, especially before actually leaving him alone like this.]
[He has no idea how this could have happened so quickly. Infection doesn't spread this fast and-- he breathes out shakily as he reaches for the edge of Keith's blanket, tugging it back a little to get a look at the wound on his leg, to see if it's really gotten magically infected somehow.]
