[The lingering attention from Shiro, now that they're at a safer, less open spot, is predictably doing stupid things to his brain now that he's somewhat more conscious of himself -- erm, he's hurting and weak okay, defenses are down, much as he tries not to show it and just lets Shiro examine him, caught up in the intensity of how carefully he looks him over. God... okay.
Once he does walk away, Keith slowly breathes out to calm himself, turns his head a little and watches him as much as he can from where he lies on the floor. He can't quite stop the guilty feeling that bubbles up in him at all this, irrational and mingled with something far more dangerous inside him. The pain in his leg masked the way the poison had started to spread through his body at first, but now... Now he can kind of almost feel it in a way that feels a little scary to think about. Maybe he's wrong? No signs of it have started to show yet, anyhow.
He breathes and tries to focus on that, closing his eyes a little but staying awake.]
