[He really should have gotten used to this at some point in the time that they've been sharing such close quarters here, and yet -- and yet, it still feels like some internal process in him went broken for a second at the sight, stuck watching him go until the door closes and then Keith just... slumps forward, dropping his face into one hand so he doesn't let out a sound of... what? Frustration? It's not quite that, but certainly he feels some of it toward himself right now.
Holding back that groan all the same, he eventually just wanders his way back to the couch, the wolf teleporting next to him so he's gonna pet her absently as he tries to gather his thoughts, to figure out what he can or should say... To try to anticipate what Shiro might tell him, too. It's difficult, not knowing exactly what to expect like this, when it comes to him.
He waits though, with his gaze absently lingering at the door despite himself, even while drifting in his own thoughts, figuring it won't be long anyway.]
