People cope the only way they know how. Just because people are doing something else doesn't mean they aren't worrying about the people they care. Just because I'm standing here talking to you [who is hardly a conversationalist] doesn't mean I'm not also worrying every moment my daughter is away from me.
It'd be easy for me to sit and do nothing but that. You do the best you can here.
