[He says it, quiet and small, without anything really behind it aside from a need to say his name, to acknowledge what he's saying since it's threatening to completely overwhelm him. He's trembling by the time Keith gets their armor off, that touch centering him and sending his heart pounding, the words almost too much to handle and accept.]
[He presses his hand against Keith's chest, feels that heartbeat, something like relief and heartbreak at once crashing over him. He blinks away tears without even fully realizing he's doing it, his body aching. Keith's touch against his chest and back, in turn, leave him shivering.]
Keith-- [it's relief, in the end, that wins out. He believes him, completely, when he says that this won't happen again; knows Keith would never let it happen. Knows Keith would never pull away from him. It doesn't feel right yet to think of Keith as his, even as he doesn't dismiss the words, and it's with that same desperation in Keith's voice that he pushes closer towards him, reaching for him, anchoring himself to him.]
Please... Keith. I want... [He isn't quite sure what he's asking for, pressing closer to Keith, desperate for something he can't quite say.]
