Elizabeth hadn't seen Jason in nearly five years. Nor had she been even in Los Angeles for just as long. However the witch had taken on a project, of looking into the Hotel Cortez. Liz had been wandering for a while, no settling down in any one place. She took jobs whenever possible. Thus the woman had been spending the evening at a club, attempting to gather information. The person who Liz had been waiting for never showed up. Instead while finishing her drink, someone else had gotten her attention. Unbeknownst was the fact Jason had been attempting to follow, and find Liz. It seemed he had always been one step behind. However, when he had approached her, at the bar, she had instantly known whom it was.
Not certain on the best way of handling having even a conversation with him. She'd done what her go-to-move was, and attempted leaving. He followed, and after his insistence the woman had gotten in. Liz told him quite a few things, which had been harder than she had imagined. It was his ability to sense the difference in her energy. Which led to her confessing about their children. Informing him she had given guardianship to the family in Maine. Her grandfather's family. For her father had never spoken to, or spent time with any outside of Reesyn, NM the home Liz had known.
Without Liz telling Jason where to drive, he had made the way to the hotel she was staying at. The awkward silence that had followed during the ride was almost too overwhelming. When he parked, Liz got out feeling just as awkwardly.. "Ahh umm. Thank you." She wasn't sure if he wanted to come in. Nor was Liz certain about wanting him to. The hotel room was on the second floor, without saying anything else. Liz unlocked the door, though stood in the doorway. Waiting for him.
