Miriam was already being dragged behind Rémy when she realized what was happening, but it took her only a moment to run alongside him. She laughed as they pushed past others on the street. Her heels clicked hard on the sidewalk, but she didn't stumble; Miriam always prided herself on her ability to wear nice shoes during any occasion. This was one of the many reasons she loved to spend time with the older man. He reminded her so much of her brother Dierk, the third oldest but the most energetic by far.
Once inside, Miriam couldn't believe her eyes. She was still trying to catch her breath, but the lobby was beautiful. She couldn't imagine what the actual theater must look like. "Oh," she breathed as the entered through the double doors. The stage was set up for the orchestra, and everything was perfect. "Zis was zee perfect idea! It's beautiful!"
