{ w h o } Ringo and Bailey. { w h a t } Getting in trouble - what else? { w h e n } Wednesday night. { w h e r e } Downtown Toledo. { r a t i n g } PG.
Bailey and his favourite male friend, one Ringo Riot, had had a wild night of rigged poker games, booze, and watching the local birds, and it was only natural that the celebrations continued after they'd left the bar and hit the streets. The rain was still coming down, but it did little to dissuade them from having the time of their lives. The rest of the carnies had gone to the movies - Bailey wondered if any of them had had as much fun as he and Ringo had had tonight. He did feel a bit bad for not taking up Ishani's invitation, but he promised himself he'd make it up to her. Perhaps he'd buy her something nice out of all the money he'd raked in tonight. That, and treat his sister to a night on the town. And buy some other gifts for his other friends and family. Yeah, that would be the nice thing to do. Bailey was a thief, yes, but not a completely inconsiderate one.
Well, okay, not always. It was probably inconsiderate when, as he and Ringo passed a particularly large puddle, Bailey kicked the water in Ringo's general direction, splashing him. It was all in good fun, though, and Bailey grinned at him as if to say he was only kidding. It was a long walk back to camp, and he wasn't about to spend the entire time in well-behaved silence.
It wasn't long before Bailey made his apology, however, as he took a flask from his jacket pocket, took a swig, and handed the rest to his friend. See? Still a wee bit considerate, even when being a tipsy jackass.
