Who: Ophelia Hobbs and Davey Goldstein.
Where: Lia's apartment at the Gardens.
What: Ophelia's officially Gone Crazy and Davey breaks down her door to deal with her.
When: Sunday afternoon, December 19th, 2010.
Rating: HIGH, Lia's upset and she has a bad mouth on a good day.
Status: Incomplete.
Lia Hobbs had lost it. It was sudden, really, and it sneaked up on her before she could realize it. It had been all her fault that Althea and Dell were now uprooted. That her niece and nephew, whom she loved with all her heart, now left the only place they had know as home. That at least most of the Hobbs children had their relationships with Demelza (and probably Tamsin) ruined. And now, Jake's best friend had been killed in a fire, her sister Lora had left the house as well, and she was done.
So, when she was looking at the forums for a distraction from the throbbing pain in her head and the sharp stab in her chest, seeing Sebastian Wright, Davey's fucking fanghanger "new best friend", she went off. He hadn't done anything in particular to anger her, but his existence and what he did and how he stole her best friend irked her beyond comprehension. And there was Davey, cavorting with him and planning to spend time with his new friend while her world was crashing down. Though Davey was certainly concerned about Lia, in her mind, she could see him choosing Sebastian and that sent her into a tizzy. She went off on every little thing and when Davey offered to come, she refused. She expected him, knew that he would stay with Sebastian.
The phone had been ringing off the hook, but she just pulled out the battery. She didn't want to see anyone; all she wanted was to shut down and curl up in her bed with a bottle of whatever the fuck she could find. She continued commenting though, some sick, masochistic side of her wanting to see her friendship with Davey, along with everything else in her life, crash down into a fiery pit. Banging on the door signified that he actually...did come, but Lia was already too far into her swirl to give up now. Refusing to open the door, she egged Davey into kicking the door, never, ever thinking he actually would, vampire strength or not.
Until he did.
Lia jumped out of her chair, startled from the loud bang that echoed throughout her apartment (and she suspected the building, too) and ready to shout her lungs out. She could feel the tingle in her hand and sent the first hex she could think of at him, one that would hopefully send a sharp, burning pain throughout his body. "WHY IN GOD'S FUCKING NAME DID YOU COME WHEN I TOLD YOU TO STAY WITH THAT BASTARD?" Lia shouted at the top of her lungs, not caring about what the neighbors would think or say.
