Yes, he was flustered. And why wouldn't he be? It seemed regardless of his good mood or good intentions, he was destined to be the same person underneath it all. And he was getting annoyed with that, not that he thought there was anything wrong with the way that he was, or if he did, he would never admit to it, but still, it just.. He hated that everything he thought to say seemed to be wrong.
James growled a little in response to the question. "Yes." He was reluctant to admit it, but he would admit it regardless. "I came here to..." He huffed a sigh. "I came here to make sure that you were okay and instead I end up harassing you about it and then making fun of you for doing what makes you feel better about yourself." Shaking his head at himself he added, "It's no wonder they put me in this place. I fail at even the most basic human interaction."
