Okay, fine, maybe he couldn't have made him leave, but he could have gotten rid of him if he'd really wanted to. But that was the thing, he didn't want to. He wanted Fisher here just as much as Fisher wanted to be here. It was just like pulling teeth to get him to make an admission of that sort. He had done everything he could to try to avoid it, and failed, miserably.
That faint smile was just enough to make James smile a little as well, trying hard to repress it though it showed in the blue of his eyes.
