Jane turned to head toward the door, but she paused just before she exited so as to turn around to steal one last glance. "I'm glad that I met you." Maybe that seemed to come from nowhere, but perhaps he needed to know it. "You remind me of someone that I used to know." She would leave the "and love" part off. Riley wasn't that same person anymore. He wasn't the same young, naive, innocent boy that he had been when they'd dated. He was a man now, and just a tiny bit jaded.
"See you, Noah," she added before she finally saw herself out, the door closing behind her, the soft scent of her jasmine perfume lingering behind.
