If he ever found that man, he was going to kill him. James had decided that. And it had nothing to do with what he had done to James, not at all, but everything to do with what he had done to Raquel. She didn't deserve this. He had tried so hard to protect her but he had failed. And now she was here and.. Well fuck. That's really all there was to say about that.
"It's okay." He whispered against her hair, stroking a hand up and down her back as he repeated himself, "It's okay." And that was about the time when one of the orderlies decided they needed to put a stop to this inappropriate conduct.
"Hey." A hand was placed on James' shoulder. "You two step away from each other. We're not having any of that here. You wanna do this, at least have the decency to find an empty room somewhere." He had no idea that this girl was James' sister, but he would know soon enough.
Yanking his shoulder away, James had to let go of Rocky, though his hand moved down to take hold of her own. "Get the fuck off of me!" He glared at the guy, eyes showing the danger behind them. "This is my fucking sister, you nasty ass pervert."
"I didn't-" The guy started to make apologies, holding his hand up and James didn't let him get it all out. "Yeah, well maybe you shouldn't fucking jump to conclusions from now on. You might get your face broke next time around."
Tugging Rocky along with him, James headed away from the guy and toward the back of the rec room. "Come on. Let's go sit down somewhere where we can have a conversation without being interrupted by fucking morons!" He yelled it loud enough that the orderly could hear, shaking his head as he walked the other way.
