It was obvious to him that he had thrown her for a loop, but that was precisely what she'd needed. If she had to work toward getting the attention that she craved, she would be more vulnerable, she would let things slip that she may not normally do otherwise. That was the plan, at least, the course of attack, so to speak, and he was definitely hoping that it would work.
"Daniel." He was quick to correct her, and there was a certain degree of warning in his tone letting her know that he would not be tried in this department. He absolutely detested being referred to as Danny. "You will address me properly, otherwise you will not be acknowledged. Understood?" He quirked a brow slightly as he awaited her response.
