Him being sedated wouldn't do anyone much good. There was nothing he could do for James if he was knocked out and there was nothing he could do for himself in that state either. James pursed his lips as he considered it for a moment, glancing over at the nurse that had walked into the room with Fisher briefly before he finally concluded, "We'll figure something out." He had been here long enough to know which nurses did what and when and how. And if they could get rid of that nurse and maybe have a newer nurse assigned to him, or one of the nurses that just didn't give a shit, then it was possible that something could be accomplished. It would just take a bit of effort. And while James may not really have a reason to put that much effort into things, it was at least something to do, and that mattered more to him than anything else did when it came down to it. He hated being bored. And it would be nice to have someone else here in his debt.
"Meanwhile, try to keep it down. I'm fucking sick of having to get thrown into solitary just so I can get some sleep especially when they don't even give you a proper bed in there." At that, he stretched his form, cracking his back a little with a scowl. He'd give anything to have a good masseuse at his disposal right about now.
