mr_bes ([info]mr_bes) wrote in [info]metem_ooc,
I spoke up in the chat last night so Mod Paul and Kim have my notions but I figured I should show my support and words here, too, because... Well, I love all of you and our idiotic characters. I don't want this game to disappear. I want to keep creating and playing with this group and these characters. I think I'll just lay out some points, bullet-style. :)

* Voluntary chats would be a good idea to keep us involved with each other and encourage connections and plotting.

* I have no problems with IJ and my lazy self would rather stay here if possible but I have no objections to moving if we have to.

* I find that journal-style games definitely need a certain number of active players to function or else it gets to be too much work on too few as well as falling into a lot of private sessions. I also find that journal-style games favor RP with a high percentage of social and character focus. We definitely need events and plot to move forward but I think we also have to give time and opportunity for just life-living with the characters.

* That said, I definitely support events but I think we need more time in between them so we can do them justice. Like Faith said, there's been a lot of busy people in the game lately and, while the spirit is willing, the flesh has no time to give the recent events the attention and play-out they deserve. For instance, I myself would have loved to really get into the kidnapping of the children more but, before I knew it, we were in the midst of holidays and the next event was approaching. It feels awkward tracking back to previous events to find completion, you know?

In summary, you're stuck with me if you want me. <3
