Just letting you guys be aware of the fact that I've had computer trouble for weeks now. I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth for no reason. Our modem was burned up and we got a new one but the wireless wasn't working so I could not connect to my own computer. Wireless modem then acquired finally but it still refuses to work. Therefore, for the last few weeks (or what feels like a month) I have been sharing the main home computer which is not always free when I want it. My phone gets net but I do not want to burn up my 3G. Hence my dilemma. So just letting you all know. Please feel free to email me what I've missed and what I need to do when it's something REALLY important in regards to my characters. I would hate to keep you in the lurch hanging around waiting on me because of something I have no control over. So just keep me informed and then use that for your own use so I'm not stuck in the dark too.

Under the disclaimer that I have no idea what anyone in your household's expertise level is with this stuff, and I have no idea how it was set up:

Wireless modems are complex little beasts. You may have to just redo the setup because if it's not done just right, the problem you're having is what usually occurs, the main line works, but no wifi. Standard modems plus routers are usually much easier because they are mostly plug and play.

I know not exactly the most helpful troubleshooting ever. If you already know this stuff just disregard and I hope we see you soon!
