For those of you who haven't Google Translated the name of the hotel, it loosely translates to Hotel of the Oldest Game. (Hush, Mirisa. Not all of us are linguistic scholars and I took Spanish in high school.)
If your character(s) arrived and have gone to their rooms, they will find everything and anything they need from a fully stocked closet of their favorite clothing to your favorite chocolate on your pillow. The hotel itself will accomadate for anything that isn't immediately found and Nigel is always prepared to help as well. Just ring the desk.
The phones work in that you can order room service, dry cleaning, more clothing etc. You can call other rooms by dialing the room number. You cannot call out. Cells phones get no signal. Aaannnnd...there is an internet accessable from a steampunky looking desktop on a table near the bed. Characters can post to the message board, but cannot access email, other websites. Porn. (Sorry Dio.) But there is a tv that gets pretty much any show or movie you want. (There's your porn, Dio.)
Now that you are checked in, feel free to look around and/or meet or interact with other characters. There are all the amenities, a bar, kareoke, a spa, etc.
OF NOTE: Nothing of the decoration or amenities is from the same time period. Consider this place exceedingly anachronistic. While the foyer and front desk are very 1940s the spa might have saunas from the BC era right next to tanning beds. You are ecourages to use your imagination when writing descriptions! If you want your character to find a Prohibition Speak East type bar, TA DA! There is one! If you want to find the bar that Jack Harkness was found in during the last ep of the tenth doctor, it's there (sans aliens and one hot immortal).
Questions, as always, bring them!
